The Lagunas de Neila are a classic in Vuelta a Burgos, but this is their debut in Vuelta a Espaņa. Those lakes are a beautiful natural place and give the stage a very high final.
Between Soria and the lakes, two 1st category climb added. This route can propitiate an exciting stage and, perhaps, an unexpected victory.
