As in 1997, there will be an stage in Granada. The city of "The Alhambra" is going to serve as finish of the 4th stage which will start in Málaga.
The widespread popularity of bicycling in this region are more than sufficient reasons for the Vuelta to again return to Granada and the surrounding countryside.
